01 Feb 2021
In this edition that will be held from 20 to 25 April 2021 and that will be in pairs format, registrants can do so with a partner who has a lower category, but never higher.
If one of the couple has a UCI Elite Federative License but the other does not, which category should we register for?
If one member of the couple is UCI Elite and the other member is Master 30, when registering they must register for the Elite category, without being UCI Elite. Therefore, they will not compete to win UCI prizes nor will they receive a financial prize, as one of the couple is Master 30.
If I am 33 years old, but my partner is 45, which category should we register for?
If one of the couple is Master 30 (between 30 and 39 years old, or will be during 2021), and the other member is Master 40 (between 40 and 49 years old, or will be during 2021), when registering they must register for the youngest age category, i.e. Master 30.
If neither of the two members of the couple have a UCI federative license, which category should we register for?
You must take out a temporary license and register for the youngest age category. If one of the members is 37 years old and the other is 41 years old, you must register for the Master 30 as this is the youngest age category.
If I want to go with my partner, can we register together, even if we are a man and a woman?
Yes, you can register in the mixed category and you must be over 19 years old or turn 19 in 2021. Both of you must have the UCI license for competitive cycling or take out a temporary license. If a participant does not pair up with another of the same age group and / or license category, the team must enter the category that corresponds to the youngest and / or highest-level category. This is not accepted for those who wish to compete in the UCI Elite categories.
