PIRELLI will reward those who recycle their tire

All riders will receive a discount on the Scorpion XC upon return of their old tires.

After the great reception of this campaign in La Rioja Bike Race presented by Pirelli 2021, Pirelli will continue to support the recycling of old tires in exchange for a significant discount on the Scorpion XC model (in its versions M, H, RC in sizes 2.2 and 2.4). This initiative, unique in the cycling world, responds to the need to create more sustainable habits in our daily lives and to take care of our environment for a better future.

To this end, and following the rise of cycling in recent times, with the impact on the environment that it entails, Pirelli has decided to put a stop to it. How? The Italian firm will prepare a space in the paddock where used tires will be collected from all participants who want to support this initiative. Once the race is over, all the tires collected will be transported for their treatment and subsequent recycling.

This recycling will be rewarded with a generous discount on Pirelli Scorpion XC tires (in versions M, H, RC in sizes 2.2 and 2.4).
