Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin 2025 opens its registrations for the 15th edition on Friday 5th September at 11h.

It will take place from 24th February to 1st March 2025 in the provinces of Granada, Jaén and Córdoba.

Any cyclist can register now for the Andalucía Bike Race by Garmin event of the next edition in 2025 accepting the following conditions:

  • Venues: Granada, Jaén and Córdoba
  • Dates: Monday 24 February to Saturday 1st March 2025
  • Registration fee: 350 € per rider (couple) or 400 € (individual Open)
  • Registration deadline: 31 October 2023 at 12 noon and until 14 February 2024 at 1 p.m. or until the 800 places available are used up.

Register using a personal computer. Company computers, tablets and/or mobile phones may cause problems.

REGISTRATION

Anyone wishing to participate in this competition must register through the official website: www.andaluciabikerace.com. In order for the registration to be valid, it is compulsory to fill in all the information requested on the form and pay the registration fee.

The deadline for registration is Friday 14 February 2024, at 13.00h or until the 800 places available (400 pairs) are filled.

Those registered within the last week (from 8 to 14 February) will not be guaranteed a personalised bib and medal, nor will they be able to receive the requested size of the Gobik gift.

The registration fee per team/pair is:

100% of the amount must be paid at the time of registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND CONDITIONS

Registration transfers are only valid for one edition, otherwise the registration fee will be forfeited. If the registration fee for the next edition is increased, it will be obligatory to pay the difference in order to transfer the registration.

There is the possibility to change the name of the entry of a participant of the couple in case of injury and impossibility to compete in the event with medical proof, as long as it is notified before the 9th of February 2024, date prior to the bib allocation.

CONDITIONS

All participants must be at least 19 years of age on 31 December of the year in which the competition is held.

Participants must hold a competition cycling licence issued by a national cycling federation approved by the UCI.

Cycle touring licences are not accepted. Licences for other sports are not accepted.

Those who do not have an annual licence for competitive cycling must obtain a temporary licence, valid only for competition and approved by the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC). It is possible to acquire this temporary licence with the registration by paying the additional cost.

This temporary licence allows you to compete in the appropriate age category, taking into account the particular specifications of the federation to which it is subject.

Both members of a team wishing to participate in the UCI Elite women's or men's category must hold a UCI annual licence for competitive cycling. If both have a UCI Elite licence, they compete for UCI points and prize money, but must also strictly comply with the UCI rules.

CATEGORIES

Participants can register in one of the following categories:

Elite UCI Men.

Two men who must be 19 years of age or older on 31 December of the year in which the competition is held. They must hold an approved UCI licence, strictly comply with all UCI regulations, compete for UCI points and prize money.

Elite Men.

Two men who must be 19 years of age or older on 31 December of the year in which the competition is held.

Elite UCI Women.

Two women who must be 19 years of age or older on 31 December of the year in which the competition is held. They must hold a homologated UCI licence, strictly comply with all UCI regulations, compete for UCI points and prize money.

Elite Women.

Two women who must be 19 years of age or older on 31 December of the year in which the competition is held.

Master 30 (men).

Two men who must be 30 years of age or older on 31 December of the year in which the competition is held. They must hold an approved Master's licence for competitive cycling. Those holding an Elite licence may not compete in this category.

Master 40 (male).

Two men who must be 40 years of age or older on 31 December of the year in which the competition is held. They must hold an approved Master's licence for competitive cycling. Those holding an Elite or Master 30 licence may not compete in this category.

Master 50 (men).
Two men that must be 50 years or older on the 31st of December of the current year in which the competition takes place. Both must hold an approved Master license for competition. Those holding Elite, Master 30 or Master 40 category license cannot compete in this category.

Master women.
Two women that must be 30 years or older on the 31st of December of the current year in which the competition takes place. Both must hold an approved Master license for competition. Those holding Elite category license cannot compete in this category.

Mixed.

One female and one male who must be 19 years of age or older on 31 December of the year in which the competition is held. Both must hold an approved licence for competitive cycling.

These categories will only be formed if at least five teams start in each category.

If a participant is not paired with another participant of the same age group and/or licence category, the team must be entered in the category corresponding to the youngest and/or highest level category.

There is also the option to register and participate in the individual OPEN mode. This option allows you to participate in the event individually, without the option of classifications or podiums, but with the option of the times of each stage and overall, and also a finisher's medal if you finish all six stages. This option has a price of 400€ per cyclist and maintains the same cancellation policies as the Couples-Competition option.
